There has been a lot of research and development about autism in the past decade. One of the main reasons is that more and more children were being diagnosed with the condition. However, autism is not a new disease, but there is more awareness to it now. One of the main concerns that were brought up during these various researches was that some vaccinations could be causing autism.
Several independent researches, in fact, found a direct connection for this possibility. The argument was based in the fact that any vaccination interferes with the auto immune system, and forces it to spring into action unnecessarily. This reaction from the auto immune system could also be stimulating other reactions in the brain leading to autism. This is how vaccination came into picture where kids are repeatedly given shots to boost immunity.
Since children who have had no prior record of autistic behavior have developed the disorder, vaccinations raised several questions among researchers. First it was concluded that autism is not a genes thing and can occur in any child or adult. However, no one was able to find the exact causes of the condition. The answer could only be found in the vaccinations and stimulating the auto immune system. Some researches also found a higher rate of antibodies in an autistic child’s body as compared to normal children. However, it all comes down to the question of safety of vaccinations and what kind of vaccinations is harmful for the child. For many doctors and parents it is a situation that can be explained using the phrase” stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea”.
However, the medical experts in the CDC and other government health departments have completely negated the findings of these researches. They have opined that the results are baseless and do not carry any iota of fact. But this has not stopped parents from worrying. In fact, many of them have ceased to immunize their children out of fear that immunization shots could lead to autism.
