Erectile dysfunction or ED is common problem faced by men, and can be triggered off due reasons that are physical or psychological. Erectile dysfunction can be described as the state when a man is repeatedly unable to get and hold an erection that can allow him to have sexual intercourse.

Some of the most widespread causes for erectile dysfunction are cardiovascular ailments, diabetes, hormonal imbalances, side effects from harmful drugs, or even neurological, like fear after having gone through prostatectomy surgery. Men who are diabetic run a high risk of suffering from erectile dysfunction. Sometimes it surfaces from everyday conditions like depression, stress, guilt and fear. In some cases, problems with erection may also be taken as a sign of an impending blood vessel or heart ailment.

The good news is that problems with getting an erection or maintaining it can be cured. The range of treatments available is vast, and in some cases, this condition can be easily cured with a few simple lifestyle adjustments.
