Preschool Graduation Ideas

Graduation for a preschooler can be a lot of fun if the parents are involved with it. It is a fun activity for the kids, and moment of pride for the parents. Teachers, in cooperation with the parents, can actually make the graduation day special. One of the best things to do is have a theme-based party.

It is easy to organize and you will have several themes to choose from. Once you put a theme in place, everything else becomes very easy to organize. You will exactly know what type of things or crafts to undertake, and how everything should look on that day. Without a theme, the whole event can look uncoordinated.

For every kid, graduation day is exciting and something to look forward to. Since the children are too small, you can have themes based on animals, jungle or something academic like numbers, fruits and alphabets. Once you decide your theme, you can allot the character name to each child. They can use their own creativity to dress up.

On a graduation day you need to get some programs organized. Based on the theme, you can have a play or a song and get them all to sing it. A 45-minute program is more than enough, or else it could be too tiresome for the kids. Then you can have a formal 10-minute speech and then head of the preschool can distribute certificates or mementos to the graduating preschoolers. If possible, include a class picture. In fact, this will be a big success and a nice keepsake for the children and their parents.
