Infant Art Activities

Most people think that infants are just babies who are good enough to be cuddled. However, that is not true and even though babies are adorable, you can actually teach them several things through infant activities. A baby is considered an infant until they are 9 or 10 months old. Once they start walking, they are not considered as infants anymore.

There are several activities for babies of this age group. However, before choosing an activity for your child you should keep our infant’s limitations in minds. If your child is not sitting up, then you should choose something they can do lying down. If they are crawling, then a crawling-based activity would be more funds for them. However, they are not at an age where they will understand your instructions. So, you have to let go of the material and let them do whatever they want with it. It is just like giving them toys.

You can give chart paper and give your baby big chalks. They will try to put it in their mouth, but it is harmless.

Babies love to play with water. Keep some room temperature water in a small shallow tub and let them splash. Put in some fish and other toys for them.

Babies love to get muddy all over and slushy. However, dirty it may seem to you, they still love it.

Give them some clay to play with. You will be amazed at the shapes they can make.

If your infant is too little, then put a lot of colorful things on their crib. You can also put one single color.
