Average Cost Of Daycare For Infants

Infancy is a very delicate stage. A new born baby is considered to be an infant until they are about 10 months old.

At this stage they are most vulnerable to illnesses, and also outside environment. During this infancy period it is best for any baby to be under the direct care of their parents. However, not all infants are so fortunate that their parents can take care of them all the time. Most couples who work have no other option but to leave their babies at a daycare.

Usually daycare for infants is more expensive than for small children and toddlers. That is because the level of care involved for infants is much higher. The daycare center is taking up a very important responsibility of looking after the infant. Mostly a nurse would be dedicated to the baby. The price or costs of daycare depends on the type you or choosing.

Home daycare means a person like a qualified nurse or daycare trained person will work in your own house and take care of the baby. They get relieved when you or your spouse comes back from work. These people work on a monthly payment or weekly payment or however you have arranged for it. The monthly costs for hiring such a person can range anywhere from $2,500 to $4,500 per month. They will provide complete care for your baby based on the instructions given by you and also their own expertise. They are almost like the secondary care giver for your child.

A regular daycare center will charge at least $800 per week for an infant.
